Itonamy

Privacy Policy

Effective: April 30, 2026

Our Principle

Itonamy stores all of your records and profile information solely on your device. None of this data is transmitted to our servers.

MCG Dev. (the "Organization") sets forth this Privacy Policy regarding the handling of personal information and user data in the "Itonamy" mobile application (the "App"). Because the App handles records that are meaningful to couples, it is designed with privacy as the highest priority.

Article 1 (Information We Collect)

The App collects and processes the following information.

ProfileGender, age, birthday, relationship, partner birthday, anniversary, children info (all optional)Device only

We do not collect information that directly identifies you, such as your name, email address, phone number, postal address, location data, contacts, or social media accounts. Profile information is used solely for in-app display and aggregation, and is never transmitted off-device (except where you opt in to anonymous statistics; see Article 3).

Article 2 (Purpose of Use)

  • Records: Used solely for aggregation, calendar display, and statistical display within the App. Records are never transmitted off-device.
  • Profile: Used to customize in-app display, including hero card anniversaries, days-together calculations, monthly rankings, and milestone celebrations.
  • Card customization: Used to maintain monthly card customization, themes, and hero card styles.
  • Anonymous statistics: When you opt in, used solely for aggregating anonymized statistics so that you may compare yourselves with users of similar age and relationship type in a future feature.
  • Advertising identifier: Used to deliver ads while the App is in free use.

Article 3 (Anonymous Statistics Opt-in)

For the comparison feature, the App may transmit monthly aggregate data to Firebase Firestore only with your explicit consent (opt-in). Transmission is limited to the items listed below. We do not include any information that identifies you personally, nor any individual record content (such as dates, notes, or basal body temperature).

  • An anonymous ID generated by the App (not linked to your device or any account)
  • Target month (yyyy-MM format)
  • Gender, age group, relationship group, presence and number of children
  • Partner age group (optional)
  • Years together and corresponding group
  • Record count for the target month, target year, and all-time monthly average

You may withdraw your opt-in at any time from the App's settings. After withdrawal, no new data will be transmitted. If you wish to delete previously transmitted anonymous aggregates, please contact us via the contact channel below; you will need to provide your anonymous ID.

Article 4 (Third-Party Services)

The App uses the following third-party services. Information may be processed by each provider in accordance with its own privacy policy.

Firebase / Cloud Firestore (anonymous statistics storage)

  • Purpose: To store anonymous monthly statistics from opted-in users and to support a future comparison feature.
  • Data sent: Only the anonymous aggregates listed in Article 3.
  • Timing: For opted-in users, the previous month's aggregate is sent once at the start of each month.
  • Privacy Policy:https://policies.google.com/privacy

Google AdMob (advertising)

  • Purpose: Ad delivery during free use.
  • Data sent: Advertising identifier (IDFA/AAID) and general device information.
  • iOS App Tracking Transparency: We honor your selection (including denial) in the tracking authorization dialog.
  • Opt-out: You may restrict ad tracking by enabling "Limit Ad Tracking" or "Reset Advertising ID" in your device settings.
  • Privacy Policy:https://policies.google.com/privacy

We do not sell, share, or disclose your information to any third party other than those listed above.

Article 5 (Storage and Deletion)

Records, profile, and card customization data are stored on your device (via SharedPreferences). You can manage your data using the following options.

  • Backup: From the "Backup" screen in settings, you can export your data as a JSON file.
  • Restore: You can restore data from a backup file.
  • Delete: Uninstalling the App removes all data stored on the device. You may also delete data individually from settings.
  • Privacy mode: You can mask record contents within the in-app display via privacy mode (records themselves are preserved).

If you have opted in to anonymous statistics, the aggregates stored in Firebase Firestore cannot be deleted from the device side. To request deletion, please contact us with your anonymous ID (visible from the settings screen) via the contact channel below.

Article 6 (Age Restriction)

The App is not intended for use by anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used the App, please contact us so that we can address the matter.

Article 7 (Device Security)

The records the App handles are personal in nature. While all records are stored only on your device and cannot be viewed by the Organization, your own device security management is essential.

  • We strongly recommend setting a device lock (passcode and/or biometric authentication).
  • If you create a backup file, you are responsible for managing it (its location and who can access it).
  • Please be aware that if your device is lost or stolen, the App's data may be at risk of being viewed.

Article 8 (International Users and Regional Rights)

8.1 International Use and Data Location

The App is operated by MCG Dev. from Japan. Personal records do not leave your device. Anonymous statistics, when you opt in, are stored on Firebase Firestore servers, which may be located outside your country of residence. By using the App, you understand that anonymous aggregates may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions with privacy laws different from your own.

8.2 Rights of EEA / UK Users (GDPR / UK GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the following rights with respect to data we hold about you (which, for the App, is limited to anonymous aggregates if you opt in):

  • Right to access, rectify, or erase your data
  • Right to restrict or object to processing
  • Right to data portability
  • Right to withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect prior processing)
  • Right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority

Because we do not collect personally identifying information by default, identifying your data requires the anonymous ID assigned within the App. To exercise any of the above rights, please contact us with your anonymous ID.

8.3 Rights of California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under the CCPA/CPRA. California residents may request information about, access to, or deletion of their data subject to verification of an associated anonymous ID. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Article 9 (Changes to This Policy)

The Organization may revise this Policy in response to legal or service changes. The revised Policy takes effect when posted on this page. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes within the App.
