Terms of Service

3.1 Account

The App can be used without registration. User data is stored only on the device. We do not maintain user accounts on our servers.

3.2 User Data

• Information recorded in the App (records, profile, card customizations, etc.) is stored on the device that you own.
• You are solely responsible for the data you record.
• We strongly recommend that you use the backup feature and store backup files securely.

3.3 Data Protection

• Because the App handles personal records, we recommend setting a device lock (passcode and/or biometric authentication).
• If your device is lost or stolen, the App's data may be at risk of being viewed.
• You are responsible for managing the sharing and storage of any backup files you create.

4.1 Base Pricing

The App is available free of charge. During free use, advertisements (Google AdMob) may be displayed.

4.2 What Itonamy Premium Includes

"Itonamy Premium" is a monthly auto-renewing subscription that unlocks the following benefits:

• Ad removal: In-app advertisements are no longer displayed.
• Premium card designs: Hero card styles (the 9 premium-only styles out of 12 total) become available.
• Monthly card premium features: Extended message length (up to 60 characters), message font selection, and accent color selection for monthly cards become available.

4.3 Plan and Pricing

• Itonamy Premium is offered as a single monthly plan.
• Prices are shown on the App Store / Google Play. Pricing is subject to change without notice.

4.4 Auto-Renewal and Payment

• Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account upon confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription automatically renews each month for the same plan, and the renewal is charged, unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can turn off auto-renewal or review your plan at any time from your store account settings (iOS: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions; Android: Google Play > Payments & subscriptions).

4.5 Refunds and Restoring Purchases

• Refunds for in-app purchases are governed by the respective App Store / Google Play terms. Please contact the relevant store for details.
• A purchased Itonamy Premium subscription can be restored via "Restore Purchases" using the same store account.
• We use RevenueCat to manage and verify subscription status (operated in anonymous mode; no user login required).

4.6 Cancellation and After Expiry

• When Premium expires, advertisements are shown again, and premium-only card designs and new premium customization of monthly cards (changing font or accent color, entering long messages up to 60 characters) become unavailable.
• However, the message, font, and accent color of monthly cards you saved before expiry remain displayed as-is (cards you already created are not broken).
• Data you have recorded on your device is retained regardless of your Premium status.

5.1 Records

• Your records (date, contraception flag, basal body temperature, mood, notes) are stored on your device.
• You may view, edit, or delete records at any time.

5.2 Profile

• You may optionally enter gender, age, birthday, relationship, partner birthday, anniversary, and information about children.
• This information is used solely for in-app display, such as the hero card.
• Profile entry is optional; the App is fully usable without it.

5.3 Hero Card and Monthly Card

• Items such as days together, anniversaries, monthly ranking, and milestones are displayed automatically based on your profile and records.
• Monthly cards can be customized with messages and images. Extended message length (up to 60 characters), font, and accent color are Itonamy Premium benefits.
• Hero card styles come in 12 total (3 free, 9 premium) plus an anniversary-day-only style, selectable from settings. The 9 premium-only styles are unlocked with Itonamy Premium.

5.4 Statistics

• The App automatically aggregates monthly and yearly counts and visualizes them with charts.
• All aggregation is performed on the device.

5.5 Themes

You can choose a UI theme:

• Terracotta: Light / Dark
• Serenity: Light / Dark

5.6 Privacy Mode

You may enable privacy mode to mask the on-screen display (records themselves are preserved).

5.7 Data Management

• Backup: Export records, profile, and other data as a JSON file.
• Restore: Restore data from an exported file.

5.8 Anonymous Statistics (Opt-in)

• Only when you opt in, the previous month's anonymous aggregates are transmitted to Firebase Firestore at the start of each month.
• Details of the data transmitted are listed in Article 3 of the Privacy Policy.
• You may withdraw your opt-in at any time from the App's settings.

5.9 Advertising

The App may display advertisements via Google AdMob. On iOS, App Tracking Transparency lets you choose whether to allow tracking. With Itonamy Premium, no advertisements are displayed.

8.1 Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for personal recording and reflection. The following are prohibited:

• Unauthorized reproduction, modification, or reverse engineering of the App or its content
• Use for commercial purposes
• Use for illegal purposes
• Acts that infringe the rights, reputation, or privacy of other users, the Organization, or any third party
• Acts that compromise the security of the App
• Recording or registering information about a third party without that person's consent

8.2 Battery and Network Use

The App consumes mobile device battery. Network communication occurs when displaying ads or transmitting anonymous statistics.

8.3 Updates and Compatibility

• The App may receive periodic updates.
• After an update, compatibility with prior versions' data may be lost.
• We strongly recommend that you periodically back up your important data.

9.1 Provided "As-Is"

The App is provided "as-is," without warranty of any kind. The developer makes no warranty regarding:

• Accuracy: Complete accuracy of statistics, aggregates, or anniversary calculations.
• Continuity: Continuous availability of the service.
• Compatibility: Compatibility with any specific device or OS version.
• Performance: Specific processing speed or response time.
• Not medical advice: Recording features such as basal body temperature are intended only to assist self-management. They do not constitute medical practice, medical advice, or any guarantee of contraceptive effect.

9.2 Data Loss

The developer is not responsible for data loss in the following situations:

• Device malfunction, loss, or theft
• OS updates or reinstallation
• Uninstalling the App (data is automatically deleted)
• User error
• Force majeure (e.g., natural disaster, power outage)

9.3 Indirect and Consequential Damages

The developer is not responsible for the following damages arising from use of the App:

• Emotional distress
• Data loss
• Interpersonal disputes
• Other indirect or consequential damages

9.4 Third-Party Content

The developer assumes no responsibility for the accuracy or use of third-party libraries or data (such as holiday data) used by the App.

10.1 Local Data Processing

Individual records, profile information, and card customization are all stored on your device. The Organization does not store or view individual records on a central server.

10.2 Third-Party Services

The App integrates with the following third-party services:

• RevenueCat: Purchase processing and subscription status management for Itonamy Premium (anonymous mode).
• Firebase / Cloud Firestore: Destination for opt-in anonymous statistics.
• Google AdMob: Advertising delivery.
